Understanding Networking Basics
Login
LOGIN is usually executed from the AUTOEXEC.BAT or another batch
file. There is some difference in the command line syntax for the particular
NetWare versions.
If you are using NetWare 3.12, see NetWare 3.12 Utilities Reference for a
complete description of the utility. If you are using NetWare 4, see NetWare
4 Utilities Reference for a complete description of the utility.
When users access resources on the network, background authentication
processes in NetWare 4 verify that the users are who they say they are.
Once users log in to the network, their trustee rights in the bindery or
Directory allow them access in the network.
