configure coa
Use the configure coa command on Foreign Agents to configure Care-of Addresses to
advertise to Mobile Nodes in Agent Advertisements.
Configuring a Care-of Address is optional. If you do not explicitly configure a Care-of
Address using the configure coa command, mipconfig will configure the address for
the Foreign Agent interface as the Care-of Address.
If the system is multi-homed (it has more than one IP address), you may want to use the
configure coa command to explicitly configure the IP address of the fastest interface as
the Care-of Address for all Foreign Agent interfaces.
Syntax
c[onfigure] c[oa] [interface_name][fa_care-of_address
[fa_care-of_address]...]
Parameters
interface_name Name of an interface with Foreign Agent services.
