Laser Head Status Screen
Laser Head Status provides a continuous update on laser head parameters.
It also monitors for other laser errors and reports any errors using pop-up
messages. This screen assumes that the laser configuration screen is set up
as configured under “Laser Configuration” on page 5-17. If so, the left half
of the screen contains information on the Left sensor head and the right half
of the screen contains information on the Right sensor head. If “***”
appears, you do not have proper communication. Press <Alt> <Exp> to
replace the bar graphs with numbers.

In all bar graphs, the bar should be between the lines. Definitions are:
A.
·· A bar graph of the present battery condition of each sensor head.
B.
··· Bar graph of the laser diode current in each head. This is for system
troubleshooting.
C.
·· Bar graph of the laser intensity on each target. This is for system
troubleshooting.
D.
·· The present rotational angle of each sensor head.
E & F.
The position of each laser beam on each target. This position is
located on the vertical and horizontal axes (read in mm or mils).
G.
·· The number of averages taken before each target data value is sent to
the analyzer. Pressing the Up or Down Arrow key increases or
decreases the number of averages by one. A minimum of one and a
maximum of 25 averages can be set.
H.
·· The version number of the sensor heads.
