2.1.2. WiFi (802.11b)
For WiFi equipped GRouter devices, an 802.11b WiFi access point or ad hoc connection must be
setup between the web browser host computer and the GRouter device. First congure the host
computer to add an IP interface on subnet 10.0.2.0/255. en setup the WiFi conguration. e
default WiFi conguration for the GRouter device is as follows:
Wireless SSID: "Adept"
Wireless Mode: Any Type (Ad hoc or Infrastructure)
Channel: Search
Encryption: None
e access point or ad hoc connection must be set up to allow a connection on a network with
SSID of Adept or Any. ere are many dierent topologies that may be employed for connecting
to the GRouter (GRouter) WiFi version. e following gures show some of the more common
ones.
