X25AM Errors and Error Descriptions
115 X25 Network problem—RESET FAILURE.
120 Data parity error, or attempt to access a tape whose density is higher than the
switch setting on the tape drive.
121 Data overrun error, hardware problem.
122 The request aborted due to possible data loss caused by reset of the circuit, CLB
sequence error; or a DP2 disk process takeover occurred.
139 Controller error; internal diagnostic failure.
140 Modem error (communication link not yet established, modem failure, momentary
loss of carrier, or disconnect) or FOX link to an EXPAND line handler is down.
152 Unusual end—the tape unit went offline or the CP6100 file closed while requests
were still in progress.
157 I/O process internal system error.
160 The request is invalid for the device state; protocol error.
161 An impossible event occurred on the line state.
162 The operation timed out.
163 An EOT was received, or power at the autocall unit is off.
164 A disconnect was received, or the data line is occupied (busy).
171 No response was received on bid/poll/select, or the reply is invalid.
172 The reply was not proper for the protocol; an invalid control sequence or invalid
data was received.
173 The maximum allowable NAKs were received (transmission error); the MCW was
valid on WRITE; or the request ID was invalid.
179 The application buffer is incorrect; a control request is pending; or an autopoll is
active.
190 A device error occurred; this is a hardware problem.
191 Device powered on by itself, or terminal reset.
200 The device is owned by an alternate port.
201 The current path to the device is down; an attempt was made to write to a non-
existent process; the message-system request was incorrectly formatted; or an
error was found in the message-system interface.
210 The device ownership changed during operation.
214 Channel timeout (path error).
218 An interrupt timeout occurred on a channel; or on a controller, modem, or the line
