2. After you have resolved all issues with the CMS configuration, find any communication issues

between the CMS and managed nodes by performing one of the following steps:

• From the HP SIM graphical user interface, select the managed nodes, then from the

Diagnose menu, select Troubleshoot Matrix Operating Environment→Check CMS to

Managed Node Communication….

• Alternatively, from the CMS command line, specify the HP SIM managed node names or

system collection names to be tested using the following command:

vseassist -l { -n nodename | -g collectionname ...}

3. After you have resolved the communication issues between the CMS and managed nodes,

verify the Matrix OE software configuration on managed nodes by performing one of the

following steps:

• From the HP SIM graphical user interface, select the managed nodes, then from the

Diagnose menu, select Troubleshoot Matrix Operating Environment→ Check Managed

Node Configuration…

• Alternatively, from the CMS command line, specify the HP SIM managed node names or

system collection names to be tested using the following command:

# vseassist -r { -n nodename | -g collectionname ...}
