Managing the HP Avaya SBC Product
There are also separate command options available for each of the services
being run on the module, as specified by the name of the service or by the
index integer for the service, as shown in the show services command:
svcs-mod (always index 1) is for the Services Module Agent (SMA)
running on the module. Entering the command services <slot-ID> 1 gets
you to the application context CLI for the SMA. Pressing the Tab key
displays the following list of commands:
The show commands in this context can be very useful diagnostic tools.
If you type show and press the Tab key, the following options are displayed:
Avaya-SBC (usually index 2) is for the Avaya Aura System Platform
running on the module, identified by the name Avaya-SBC. Entering the
command services <slot-ID> name Avaya-SBC, or services <slot-ID> < product
index> (where product refers to the entry in the show services command
output for the Avaya Aura powered by Acme Packet
product) gets you
the command shell for the module’s communication to the Avaya Aura
System Platform. For example, if the HP Avaya SBC zl Module is installed
in slot I, and the product has an index integer of 2, entering the command
services i 2, results in this display:
