DHCP Relay (IPv4 and IPv6)
– 645 –
The layer 3 interface of the configured or destination VLAN must have its layer 3
interface enabled. (Adding an IPv6 or IP address to the VLAN interface will enable
it.)
The relay agent is enabled if the command show ipv6 dhcp relay destination
interface displays at least one entry for a configured VLAN. The relay agent is
disabled if the command displays no entries.
Example
In this example VLAN 600 is configured to forward client DHCPv6 messages out on
all configured VLANs using the multicast address FF05::1:3.

Console(config-if)#ipv6 dhcp relay destination multicast all
Console(config-if)#
