4. Using the setup disks supplied with Windows NT SBS, insert diskette #1 to boot the
system. While loading the first setup disk, when the message "Setup is inspecting
your hardware configuration..." is displayed, press F6.
5. Insert Diskette #2 when prompted.
6. Press "S" to select specify at the screen that reads "Setup could not determine the type
of one or more mass storage devices...".
7. Select "Other" and press enter.
8. Insert the NetServer SCSI driver's diskette at the prompt that reads "Please insert the
diskette labeled Manufacturer - supplied hardware support disk into drive A:" Press
enter to continue.
9. Select "Hewlett-Packard 2940/78xx SCSI driver..." and press enter.
10. Press "S" to specify additional devices.
11. Press the "Up arrow key" to select "IDE CD-ROM (ATAPI 1.2)/PCI IDE Controller."
Press enter to accept this choice.
12. Press "Enter" to finish the device configuration and continue with the installation.
13. Insert diskette 3 and follow the instructions provided on the screen by the installer. It
will ask you to insert diskette 2 or 3 multiple times.
14. Press "Esc" to skip this file at the message that reads. "Setup was unable to copy the
file AIC78XX.SYS."
15. Press "Esc" to skip this file at the message that reads. "Setup was unable to copy the
file oemsetup.inf."
16. Setup begins to copy files to your hard disk.
17. Press "Esc" to skip this file at the message that reads "Setup was unable to copy the
file rsaenh.dll."
18. Setup continues to copy more files to your hard disk. Remove diskette #3 and insert
the DOS BOOT diskette. This will keep NT from booting from the hard drive. Also,
this is required for step #20.
19. SBS will display a message "Restarting the computer" at the bottom of the display.
20. The system should then Boot from your DOS boot diskette.
21. After the system has booted to the DOS Boot disk, insert the NetServer SCSI driver's
diskette and type the following DOS command.
