68. Click <Next>. To accept default SBS folder values.
69. If present, click <OK> at the service control dialog box.
70. When prompted, insert <SBS 4.5 CD# 2>.
71. When prompted, insert <SBS 4.5 CD# 3>
72. Click <Next>. If you get a message about Proxy Server did not install properly. You
may need to troubleshoot this issue.
73. Click <Finish>. To close the Wizard.
74. Click <Yes>. To reboot system and complete installation.
75. If present, Click <OK> at service control manager dialog box.
76. SBS starts running the Server Console application with a "To Do List" on the
display. You can hide or exit this application if not needed.
77. This marks the completion of the SBS 4.5 installation.
78. SBS may start a "Console Management application". You can hide or exit this
application if not needed.
79. Run the event viewer application. Clear all entries.
80. Shutdown and restart server. Open event viewer again to verify that there are no
errors in the log.
81. Verify server connectivity by using a client on the network to do a ping and data
transfer to a shared folder.
Manual Installation of BackOffice Small Business Server 4.5 for the E
60 and E 800
NOTE: If installing on a NetServer E 800, see Tip #6 now.
1. Boot from the HP NetServer Navigator CD-ROM.
2. Create the "Windows NT 4.0 drivers diskette" using the HP Navigator CD-ROM.
3. Using the setup disks supplied with Windows NT SBS, insert diskette #1 to boot the
system. While loading the first setup disk, when the message "Setup is inspecting
your hardware configuration..." is displayed, press F6.
4. Insert Diskette #2 when prompted.
5. Press <S> to skip detection of devices.
